The 2008 Convention will be held at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel. SSMA Rates are $97 single/double per night and you may make your reservations online by clicking on the link below or by phone at 1-800-325-3535 (be sure to indicate you are with SSMA). To receive this special rate you need to make your reservations by October 22, 2008 (while rooms in the block are still available).

The Sheraton Imperial Hotel offers complimentary shuttle to and from the airport. In the baggage claim at the airport, please look for the kiosk with phones for the local hotels. Select the number for the Sheraton, make the call, and the hotel staff will give you instructions about where to catch the shuttle.
The annual conventions are held each Fall in various sites around the country. Convention sessions include the teaching and learning of science and mathematics as well as their integration. SSMA has been a national leader in bringing together science educators and mathematics educators to work together.
