Monographs


School Science and Mathematics Association publishes monographs in one of two series, Classroom Activities and Topics for Teachers. Classroom Activities are targeted to the K-12 classroom teacher audience and provide activities science and mathematics. Topics for Teachers emphasize leadership issues and/or research and are mainly targeted to those that prepare teachers of science and/or mathematics and to those in leadership positions in school districts.

SSMA also publishes special issues of its journal for purchase.

Activities for Teaching K-6 Math/Science Concepts. (1989). Classroom-tested activities, reproducible pages. 42 pp. $7.50.

Problem Solving with Number Patterns. (1987). A unique activity book with activities in the first section and answers in the second. An integration of number problems and geometry. This is an excellent resource book for use in student discovery. Appropriate for elementary and secondary school. 158 pp. $9.50.
